Provider transfer FAQs
Do I need permission from my current provider to interview another provider?
No. You may ask other providers questions before making a choice. Your service coordinator coordinates the formal transfer.
Can Aba Healthcare Inc. complete the transfer for me?
We participate as the receiving provider after selection, but the service coordinator leads the official process.
Is a transfer immediate?
Not automatically. Planning, forms, provider coordination and authorization must be completed before the effective date.
Can the LIDDA choose a provider for my family?
Provider choice belongs to the individual or LAR. The service coordinator provides information and facilitates the choice.
